Students enjoy the ELS/Silicon Valley homestay program because the Center hand-selects every family. The host families are kind, involved, and truly care about students. Homestay families provide breakfast and dinner daily, and make an effort to spend time with students so that students get an immersive and personal experience. Students generally take the public bus to and from school and the average commute time is 45-60 minutes. Students are generally placed in Single Rooms, however in busy seasons, students may be placed in Double Rooms.

The Park Circle Apartments provides all the comforts of home and the convenience of a short walk to ELS Silicon Valley, De Anza College, the Vallco Shopping Mall, many grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment such as a movie theater, bowling alley, and two nearby parks. It is also on several bus lines for easy access to the entire Silicon Valley.
