ELS Educational Services, Inc. Announces New Vice President to Lead International Pathways Programs


PRINCETON, NJ, 17 August, 2018 – ELS Educational Services, Inc. announced the appointment of Theresa Pettersson as the company’s Vice President of Pathway Partnerships. Ms. Pettersson will be responsible for providing direction and stewardship of all strategic, administrative, and operational activities related to relationships with partner pathway universities. She will also develop new relationships with select universities to support their internationalization needs.

“Theresa comes to us with a rich background in leadership roles in university settings and with specialized knowledge in the pathway segment,” said Alexandra Zilovic, Executive Vice President, Global Operations & Business Affairs. “We are very excited to have someone of Theresa’s caliber and knowledge to help ELS expand the capabilities and future potential of our International Pathway Program.”

Ms. Pettersson comes to ELS from Merrimack College where she was the Associate Vice President for International and Multicultural Initiatives, leading international enrollment strategy, compliance, and partnerships. As the Vice President of University Academic Relations for North America at Study Group, Ms. Pettersson was the chief administrative and academic officer focused on pathway programs. She also contributed in a number of roles to the success of the prestigious pre-matriculation programs at Northeastern University, including Global Pathways, American Classroom, and the U.S. Sino-Pathway program.
